The Department of Housing provides affordable housing to low and middle income families and committed to the Centre by the Juvenile Court under the authority of the Administration of Justice Act.
The Department of Housing provides affordable housing to low and middle income families and senior citizens in New Providence and the Family Islands through the Government Guaranteed Mortgage Loan Programme.
The Department's major thrust at this time is the continued development of Millennium Gardens: a state of the art housing develop-ment in which will be locat-ed passive parks, Nazareth House, a safe home for children who have been hurt or abused; and an inter-generational centre.
