Cultural Resource Unit

Because of the demand of cultural information by students at all levels, requests from the community and foreign researchers, The Cultural Resource Unit has been established.

As performances – both indigenous and classical festivals and entertainment of all types – are proliferating, much threatens to escape posterity. This existing Unit, therefore, has a continuing responsibility to compiling and preserving everything pertinent to the development of the Bahamian ethos. Our research efforts are concentrated in the following areas:-

Bahamian Musicians
Bahamian Artist
Bahamian Writers
Bahamian Dancers
Bahamian Literature
Bahamian Songs
Junkanoo
Arts and Crafts
Cultural Articles
Choral and Instrumental Scores
