Mission Statement
To advise on and to efficiently and effectively implement Government Fiscal Policy.
The primary responsibility of the Ministry of Finance is the care and management of the Government's financial resources. This responsibility involves providing support and advice on the most appropriate fiscal, tax and economic policies with the aim of maximizing sustainable economic growth and development with full regard to equity and social policies.  | Ministry of Finance, NASSAU, Bahamas -- The Staff of the Ministry of Finance donates to The Bahamas Red Cross Society for Haiti Earthquake Relief. A check for $2072.75 was presented to Ms. Caroline Turnquest - Director General of The Bahamas Red Cross on 29th January 2010.
