Additional fees for IBC being restored to the Companies Register


NEW IBC FEE SCHEDULE: Takes affect July 1, 2010.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS PAYING FOR CERTIFIED COPIES AND APOSTILLE.
  1. Effective January 1, 2010, the Consular Division will charge U.S. $10.00 for each copy to be Apostilled. Customers should submit this fee in addition to the certification charges for Birth ($10.00), Death ($10.00) or marriage ($20.00) Certificates.

  2. The only acceptable forms of payment are:

    • APOSTILLE payment(s) must be made payable to the PUBLIC TREASURY. Certified Manager's Cheque (Bank Draft) only in US dollars.

    • CERTIFICATION payment(s) must be made payable to the REGISTRAR GENERAL'S DEPARTMENT. (Bank Drafts, Certified manager's Cheque or International Postal Money Order in U.S. dollars only.
      No personal cheques or cash will be accepted.
  3. All Government return correspondences are sent via envelopes 'On Bahamas Government Service'.(Please do not include return envelopes or U.S. postage stamps)

  4. We do accept return addressed courier packages, e.g. Fed-Ex or UPS.
