The Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture host several annual summer programmes.   The Department of Culture hosts its Summer Sailing Programme during the month of July.  Sloop sailing and Olympic Style sailing are taught.  Persons interested in receiving training must apply to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.  


Eligibility 

Citizens and residents ages 5 - 15

Process 
  1. Interested person may collect application forms at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.  Form is sometimes also made available at participating schools/sites.
  2. The applicant must fill out and submit the application form to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.  Be sure to select the appropriate summer programme on interest.  
  3. If a cultural programme was selected, the Department of Culture will receive and process the application.
  4. The applicant will be contacted by the Department of Culture informing them the location of the summer camp programme and the head instructor.

Supporting Documents 

In the event that the applicant has a medical condition that may be impacted by the activities of the class, the Department of Culture also request a copy of any medical documents that will guide their response in the event of an emergency.

Turn-around time 

Applications for cultural summer programmes are processed within 1 week.
Deadline 

Applications must be submitted three weeks prior to the beginning of the programme.
