Citizens and businesses can open a group association account at the Bahamas Post Offices. The Savings bank at the Post Office is a thrift bank as opposed to a commercial bank.

• Applicant must be 12 years or older.
• Children under 12 years of age must have a Trustee.
• The Organization must have (3) three officers to sign on the account.

1. Visit the Post Office.
2. Complete the following forms.
   a. Depositor’s Book.
   b. Post Office Savings Bank Personal Information Update Form.
3. Submit completed application forms along with relevant supporting documents.
4. Deposit at least BS$3.00 to the account.
5. The Clerk at the Bank will issue a Pass Book.
6. For withdrawals, two officers need to be present.
7. Know your Customer Compliance Form.
