Demand Reduction Officer

Mr. Shervin M. Lloyd has been a member of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force for  over eighteen years. Eight of which, he has been posted at the National Anti-Drug Secretariat in the Ministry of National Security as Demand Reduction Officer.  Mr. Lloyd’s expertise includes public speaking, research and planning, speech writing, Public Administration, psychology, law, and legal research.

Mr. Lloyd is passionate about helping people of all ages remain drug and crime free. Therefore, he is always looking for an opportunity to inform persons, particularly the young, about the negative consequences of drug use, abuse and illicit trafficking. He is knowledgeable regarding drug control in  The Bahamas, national security issues in general and the appropriate laws that govern the same.

An Advance Toastmaster Gold who loves to write speeches and a martial artist that has studied shotokan for seventeen years, Mr. Lloyd holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and an LLB.
