Public awareness about communicable diseases is enhanced through the Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit’s outreach campaigns. These campaigns take the form of workshops that are specifically geared toward organizations and businesses.  For information on past outbreaks, please click here.


Eligibility 

Any member of the public, Bahamian or not, can make a request.

Process 
  1. Contact the Surveillance Unit by telephone.
  2. Schedule a date for your outreach campaign.
  3. A surveillance officer will discuss with you the objectives, audience and logistics of the event.
  4. Participate in workshop.
    (If the event is cancelled or postponed, inform the Surveillance unit.)
