NASSAU, Bahamas – October 18, 2021: Sterling Global Ltd. recently unveiled the newest segment of the Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina expansion at Paradise Landing. The $250 million project includes two 3- storey Sterling Commons Buildings, a two-storey harbourmaster office and other luxurious amenities such as a crew lounge and gourmet grocery store.
Deputy Prime Minister The Honourable I. Chester Cooper toured the construction site of the Phase 1 completion and expressed his enthusiasm for the mixed-use project, which is projected to breathe new life into Paradise Island.
Deputy Prime Minister Cooper said, “This is the type of investment we want to see more and more of in our country. I was quite impressed by what I saw here today. I want the investment community and the business community to take note: the government is very investment focused.”
The expansion doubled the size of the deluxe marina and will accommodate superyachts, making the Paradise Island marinaone of the largest and most exclusive marinas in the Caribbean region. Once completed, the marina will encompass 6,100 linear feet of berthing space, 14.5feet in depth, floating and fixed docks, a 240-foot turning basin and concrete docks up to 420 feet.
President of Sterling Advisory Khaalis Rolle said, “What you are seeing today is the promise we made coming to life — the twin buildings of Sterling Commons with residences, professional office space and retail and the completion of the infrastructure that will become the premiere superyacht marina in the region”.
