The Government of The Bahamas provides certain groups with the use of its stages, flag poles and carpets to facilitate public events.
To be in one of the following groups:
- Civic Groups.
- Church Organizations.
- Governmental Entities.
- Non-Governmental Organizations.
Requests for personal events cannot be accommodated.

- The letter must include the following:
- Date and time of event.
- Site location.
- Amount of Stages/Flag Poles/Carpets requested.
- Once the requested item is available the requestor will be informed by phone whether or not approval is granted.
- The requestor must present valid I.D. when collecting items.
There is no application form for this service.
No supporting documents are required for this service.
Requests are processed withing one to two weeks following the submission of the letter.
All requests must be received one week prior to the event.
There are no fees associated with this service.
