All persons travelling from abroad into The Bahamas must declare travelling passenger information for the clearance of undeclared goods / baggage.  This is undertaken at all Customs Ports of Entry.

All passengers travelling from abroad.

Process 
  1. Complete relevant declaration form.
  2. Present passport, invoices and completed form to Customs Officer.
  3. Pay relevant import duties and taxes.
  4. Collect goods.

C17 Form - Accompanied Baggage Declaration. 

This form can be obtained from the Customs Department.

Supporting Documents 
  • Completed required C17 form (Accompanied Baggage Declaration).
  • Invoices (where applicable).
  • Agricultural Permit (optional based on items).
  • Phytosanitary Certificate (optional based on items).
  • Valid Passport.
  • Travel Documents.
Turn-around time 
Immediately upon presentation of documents.

Relevant duties and taxes are charged based on the nature of goods.
