Road Paving - Faith Avenue Fire Trail Road to Carmichael Road

The Ministry of Public Works/Bahamix, has scheduled paving works for Faith Avenue (Fire Trail to Carmichael Road), to be carried out in four traffic management phases.

 

The Road Works are scheduled to commence Tuesday, May 12, 2020, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, for 10 working days or until completion of the works.

 

There will be full road closures implemented between the following junctions:

  1. Fire Trail Rd. /Faith Ave. and Bellot Rd. / Faith Ave.

All south bound traffic will be diverted to Sir Milo Butler Highway and onto Bellot Road. All north bound traffic will be diverted to Carmichael Road, then onto Sir Milo Butler Highway and onto Fire Trail Road.

  1. Bellot Rd. /Faith Ave. and Hampster Rd. / Faith Ave.

All north bound traffic will be detoured onto Hampster Road, then onto Pink Meadows Road, onto Bellot Road and then onto Faith Avenue. All South Bound traffic will be detoured onto Bellot Road, then onto Pink Meadows Road, to Hampster Road and then onto Faith Avenue.

  1. Hampster Rd. / Faith Ave. and Adderley Ter. / Faith Ave.

All north bound traffic will be detoured to Adderley Terrace, then to Shrimp Road, onto Hampster Road and then onto Faith Avenue. All south bound traffic will be detoured to Hampster Road, then onto Shrimp Road and then onto Adderley Terrace and back onto Faith Avenue.

  1. Adderley Terrace / Faith Ave. and Carmichael Rd. / Faith Ave.

All north bound traffic will be detoured to Shrimp Avenue, onto Adderley Terrace, then back onto Faith Avenue. All south bound traffic will be detoured onto Adderley Terrace then to Shrimp Avenue and onto Carmichael Road.

 

You are asked to be aware of and acknowledge the posted traffic paving signs in the area.
