Q: What is a KAP Survey?

A: A KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice) Survey is a questionnaire designed to gain feedback about the public’s understanding as it relates to climate change.

 

Q: Why is the Ministry of Health & Wellness conducting a KAP Survey?

A: Because climate change is affecting US NOW and we must ACT NOW.*[1]

 

Q: Why should I take the KAP Survey?

A: Your feedback is important in charting the way forward in addressing climate change.

 

Q: What will the data from the KAP Survey be used for?

A: To develop a National Education Campaign to reduce the impact of Climate Change on the population.

Q: Has the KAP Survey been done before?

A: It’s being done in 10 Caribbean countries. A version of it has also been done in Asia, Canada and the United States.

*The Bahamas has seen increased flooding in low lying areas.
