The Ministry of Finance is indeed grateful for the support provided from Procurement Entities in publishing this initial report on opportunities awarded in the Bonfire eProcurement portal during the period, September 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.

We are aware that awarding opportunities in the portal is a continual process and at times require assistance from technical officers in the Procurement Department. Further, it is also noteworthy that training in the application of the portal is ongoing, and considering nine (9) months of adjusting to the Procurement Act and applying it to the portal, efforts from staff attached to procurement from various procurement entities must be lauded.

Subsequent to posting of this initial report, focal staff from the Ministry of Finance and the Procurement Department will engage the media and general public to provide clarity on any queries with respect to information generated from the Report.
