NASSAU, The Bahamas – Prime Minister, Dr. the Most Hon. Hubert A. Minnis led his Cabinet Ministers, Senators and Members of Parliament on a tour of Fusion Superplex, the multi-dimensional IMAX Theatre on Gladstone Road, overlooking the picturesque and serene Lake Cunningham.

And after about an hour’s tour of the 100,000 square-foot facility, which houses nine movie theatres inclusive of VIP sections, the Prime Minister said, he was very impressed with the business establishment owned by young Bahamians.

Some of the major principals are Chief of Security, Maintenance & Facilities, Demarco Gibson, Chief Executive Officer, Carlos Foulkes, Chief Operating Officer, Dominic Richards and Tecoyo Bridgewater, Director/Legal Counsel.

The Prime Minister credited them for being “determined,” following their dreams and goals and being persistent.  He added that many of them left their (fulltime) jobs and are about to offer “a first” for The Bahamas.

The Prime Minister said he has every intention of patronizing the facility with his sons and grandsons.

Fusion Superplex also houses two restaurants, a coffee and ice-cream lounge, which serves Starbucks and Sub Zero Nitrogen ice cream, a kid’s zone, games arcade, virtual reality gaming, and event grounds.
