Permanent Secretaries Donate to the Salvation Army

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- In support of community service and  social outreach during the current COVID-19 Pandemic, Permanent Secretaries of the Bahamas Government made a donation of $7,000 to the Salvation Army on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Salvation Army Headquarters.  The donation was made on behalf of the Secretary to the Cabinet, Acting Financial Secretary, Permanent Secretaries, other Senior Administrators and Technical Heads, to the Salvation Army which is known for its commitment to providing help to those who need it.  Making the presentation to Salvation Army Divisional Commander Major Clarence Ingram were: Permanent Secretaries Elise Delancy, Cora Colebrooke, Reginald Saunders, Lt. Cmdr./Acting Port Controller Berne Wright, Director of Labour John Pinder, and First Assistant Secretary Melvelyn Symonette.  Pictured, PS Elise Delancy presents  the cheque to Major Ingram.  Standing behind is FAS Melvelyn Symonette.    (BIS Photo/Kemuel Stubbs)
