NASSAU, The Bahamas -- A number of students and community entrants played pieces for Music Adjudicator Trent Elliott Davis, during the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival New Providence adjudications, at the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts, on March 12, 2019. Of note were community entrants, who ran the gamut from self-taught Yellow Elder Primary student Leroy Burrows, Jr., to Carey's Music Studio student Ariana Delaney and her music teacher, the highly-proficient Vanessa Carey. Over 1100 entrants in New Providence are expected to take part in dance, drama, voice, playing musical instruments and the arts and craft, through to March 21. The Dundas Centre is the venue for dance, musical instruments and drama, while the Holy Trinity Church Activities Centre, in Stapledon Gardens, is the venue for vocal performances. All events are free and open to the public. (BIS Photos/Eric Rose)
