Bahamian nationals and residents returning from Cuba

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, further to its earlier press release, wishes to advise that, unfortunately, due to technical reasons, the Bahamasair flight to Cuba did not take place as planned on 10 June to collect the Bahamian nationals and residents who were displaced when the border closed.
The flight is now scheduled to fly to Havana on 11 June at 8:00 a.m. and will return to Nassau at 12 noon.
The Ministry will continue to advise members of the public if additional flights are organized.
