Port Department, 22 JUL. ‘19 (Ministry of Transport & Local Government): The Bahamas Port Department recently came to the assistance of a charitable organization with a presentation to the group on June 28th 2019.

The presentation was made by the Acting Port Controller, Commander Raymond King on behalf of the Port Department and the Ministry of Transport and Local Government, by extension.

The community outreach initiative was coordinated by the Department’s Community and Social leader, Senior Executive Secretary Renae Holmes.

The assortment of food items was presented to Ms. Shenna Collie, organizer of the “Give a Little, Help a Lot” foundation.

Ms. Collie was grateful for the food items, which she said will go a long way in assisting the unfortunates and the needy. These items reflected acts of kindness by the staff of the Port Department over a three-month period.
