The Cabinet Office announced today that all persons who wish to use the National Flag and/or Coat of Arms on any articles to be produced, distributed, sold, or imported into The Bahamas, or in connection with any business during Independence or for resale throughout the year must obtain written approval from the Ministry of National Security.  

The National Flag and Coat of Arms must be the correct pantone colours which may be obtained from the Ministry of National Security.

The public is advised to govern themselves accordingly.
