NASSAU, The Bahamas -- “The All Andros and the Berry Islands Regatta will be held July 4 – 7 in beautiful Morgan’s Bluff Andros,” said regatta committee chairman, Ricardo Wilson, June 26, 2019 during a press conference at the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources.

Twenty sloop sailing boats, including two new boats, in the A, B and C classes are expected to participate and compete for prizes, the chairman said. A gospel concert, cultural show and live entertainment are also scheduled to take place.

We encourage all to come and support the vendors while enjoying the best in native dishes, said Mr. Wilson.

The committee reminds the general public that the excursion boat, the Lady Rosalind leaves Potter’s Cay at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are going fast.

“As you can appreciate regattas are very expensive: we say thank you to all boat owners and sailors throughout the country for helping to keep this great tradition alive.”
