NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture (MOYSC) honoured National Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and National Youth Month Patron Elma Garraway, MBE, at the Youth Leaders Reception, held at the Balmoral Club, on October 18, 2018.  Among those present and bringing accolades to Mrs. Garraway were Minister of Youth Sports and Culture the Hon. Lanisha Rolle; MOYSC Acting Permanent Secretary Rhoda Jackson; Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Nicole Campbell; MOYSC Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary and Director of Youth K. Darron Turnquest; Youth Officer and Awards Programme Co-ordinator John Darville; MOYSC officers and staff; members of the National Youth Advisory Council; Mrs. Garraway's husband Robert Anthony, children, and family members; Dr. Gail Saunders; and stakeholders and representatives of various youth organizations, particularly the Bahamas Girls Guides Association and those that Mrs. Garraway assisted and worked with over her decades of service to the Bahamian community.  (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
