Job Vacancy Notice - Assistant Protocol Officer

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as ASSISTANT PROTOCOL OFFICER within the Office of the Judiciary (Supreme & Magistrates' Courts), New Providence, The Bahamas.

 

The successful applicant would report to The Honourable Chief Justice and the Registrar of the Supreme Court.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Assisting with preparing for conferences and meetings;
  • Assisting with greeting, seating and engaging guests;
  • Answering phone calls and answering questions relating to events;
  • Providing excellent customer service;
  • Representation of extreme polite behaviour;
  • Must be available when needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicant must possess a 2 GCE ‘O’ levels/BGCSE including English Language;
  • Applicants should possess a certificate of completion in the Bahama Host Course, or recognized etiquette program;
  • Applicant must have knowledge of Office of the Judiciary, government officials, etiquette protocol and current events;
  • Applicant should have excellent communication skills and have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Applicant should possess a background in event planning;
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience;
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

 

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
