Housing Unit Information

Unit	Description
Central Intake Facility	Allows proper reception, orientation, assessment, sentence planning, classification, and placement of inmates.
Minimum Security Facility	Houses offenders with a sentence term of a year or less.
Remand Centre Facility	Houses Remanded (Awaiting Trial) Offenders inclusive of male juvenile offenders.
Maximum Security Housing Facility	Houses high-risk offenders, and foreign nationals.
Medium Security Housing Facility	Houses medium-risk offenders. Offenders housed at Medium Security Facility are a part of the Intra-mural Work Programme, and various other corrections-based programmes.
Female Housing Facility	Houses both adult female and juvenile female offenders.
Annex Housing Facility	Houses offenders on the Work Release Programme.
