Addressing the Governor-General

 

The present holder of the Office of Governor-General is Dame Marguerite Pindling, GCMG, who assumed Office on 8th July 2014.
 

The formal style of address for the present Governor-General is:
 

“Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor-General of The Bahamas”.
 

When directly addressing the Governor-General, the correct style is "Your Excellency".
