Registered Agents can incorporate a non-profit company without share capital at the Companies Section of the Registrar General’s Department.


Eligibility 
  • A Registered Agent with clients having charitable objectives.
  • The Registered Agent must have a Financial and Corporate Service Providers Licence issued by the Securities Commission.
  • The Registered Agents on the Family Islands must be licensed in New Providence.
Process 
  1. The applicant should obtain the relevant supporting documents and submit to the Company’s Registry section of the Registrar General’s Department.
  2. Pay the incorporation fee.

  • Reserved Company Name.
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association.
  • Statutory Declaration.
  • Affidavits sworn by witness/subscribers.

2 weeks to 6 months ( including submission and approval by the Attorney General’s Office)
