Researcher, National Drugs Observatory
Greer D. McKinney is currently a Research Officer in the National Drug Observatory. Prior to her appointment she graduated from the University of Nebraska (UNK) and began her professional career at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services (BDCS) formerly Her Majesty’s Prison in 2005. While employed there she worked as a Case Management Officer, Staff Instructor/Trainer, Curriculum Specialist, Research and Policy Officer. She has participated in various training and certification programmes in Staff Training, Leadership Development and Emergency Response Management in the Bahamas, Caribbean, China, and United States.
In 2015 joined the staff of The National Anti-Drug Secretariat (NADS) and has attended various international drug control and special meetings including UNGASS 2016 and UNODC 60th Session Meeting in Vienna 2017.
