Application to work in the Summer Programme, The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources in partnership with the Private Sector.


Eligibility 

Bahamian citizens and residents who are at least 15 years old, with effect from the date they sign the application form.

Process 
  1. Interested persons may collect application forms form the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources OR download them from our website.
  2. They should be completed and delivered to:

                 The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources
                 Human Resource Section    
                 Island Traders Building
                 East Bay and Okra Hill
                 Nassau, Bahamas

  1. The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources  will review the application to ensure an appropriate match between skills required and personnel and select appropriate candidates.
  2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources  will contact both the business and employee to inform them of the pairing made.  
  3. Persons will be contacted by phone when the decision is made.

Supporting Documents 
  • Copies of academic qualifications (originals will be required for verification)
  • Birth certificate OR Passport  (the original will be required for verification)
  • National Insurance Card
  • Bank Information (please see form attached)
  • Current school identification card - in the case of University/College students
Turn-around time 
Summer Employment Programme applications may be processed within one month.
Deadline 
Applications must be submitted by Friday, 17th May 2019.
