Customers can register their mail before sending. This ensures the security of the mail.

There are no eligibility requirements for this service.

1. Visit any Post Office.
2. You may place your mail to be registered in a regular package or purchase a special envelope designed for registered mail at the post office.
3. Complete the Registered Mail Form and submit to the counter clerk.
4. After purchasing and affixing the correct postage, the item for registration must be given to the postal clerk who will determine the registration fee.
5. After the registration fee is paid, the postal clerk would ensure that the correct requirements – the word “REGISTERED” is inked stamped or boldly written in red at the front left hand corner of the package or envelope.

Registration Cost

• Domestic Items – BS 80 cents plus postage.
• International Items - BS$1.50 plus postage.

At the time of registration, a customer can purchase a return receipt for BS$1.20 which will indicate if their package has been delivered.
