This is an exciting time to be a public officer in The Bahamas, especially in the Department of Public Service. The department’s role is that of a change agent, charged with the responsibility to ensure the smooth but dynamic move to a Human Resource Management concept. A concept that would imbue each public officer with the will, energy and foresight to fully comprehend the policies of the Government and assist to the fullest extent in the implementation of these policies for the benefit of the country.
