MOFCOM Scholarship supports Master’s programs for 2-3 years or PhD programs for 3-4 years.

Below details the specifics regarding the same:

Application Details
Scholarship applications should be sent to The Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office (ECCO) of the Chinese Embassy by Monday, 30th April, 2018.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

• be in good health;
• be a bachelor’s degree holder when applying for the master’s program;
• be a master’s degree holder when applying for a doctoral program;
• be under the age of 45 when applying; and,
• have sufficient English or Chinese proficiency which meets the academic requirements of the program.

Applicant Documents (Written in Chinese and English)

1. Application Form for MOFCOM Scholarship. Ensure you have submitted the application
   online and printed the hard copy via www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or www.campuschina.org
2. Photocopy of highest diploma
3. Photo of academic transcripts
4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal with a minimum of 400 words
5. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form
6. Photocopy of a valid passport
7. Photocopy of English or Chinese proficiency

Please note further that all application material listed above should be submitted in both hard copy and scanned copy to the ECCO of the Chinese Embassy before 30th April, 2018.  Furthermore, a written request should be made to the ECCO of the Chinese Embassy for an official recommendation letter clearly stating that the applicant is willing to be considered for a similar program at other universities if the applied programs could not accept the applicant.
