The ongoing upgrade to the 919 system has resulted in NEMS dispatchers having limited access to 919 lines at this time.
The Public Hospitals Authority (PHA) and the National Emergency Medical Services (NEMS) request the public to utilize an alternate phone contact in addition to 919 to report medical emergencies.
Persons reporting a medical emergency may reach NEMS dispatchers at 376.9000.
