NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Christmas was in the air with the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Rawson Square on Sunday, December 11, 2022.  Lots of onlookers enjoyed the warmth of the festivities.  In attendance and conveying Christmas greetings were Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper; Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Mario Bowleg, and government officials.  Photos show choral, instrumental and dance performances by children of various schools, including the Red Cross School for the Deaf, One on One Preschool, Combined Children's Choir, Lyford Cay Steel Pan Band.   The Royal Bahamas Police Force Band also performed for the crowds.
