The Parliamentary Registration Department would like to inform the general public that Local Government Elections will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022. CANDIDATES CAN COLLECT NOMINATION FORMS FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
- The Administrator’s Offices on the Family Islands
- On the Island of Grand Bahama:
- The Administrator’s Office – Government Complex, Jones Town Phone: 348-2877
- The Administrator’s Office -- National Insurance Building, Explorer’s Way Phone: 352-6332
- The Parliamentary Registration Department – National Insurance Building, Explorer’s Way Phone: 352-9185/6
The Register of Voters will close at the end of business hours on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Persons who need to transfer or register for the first time must do so before the closing.
Nomination Day will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022
