52 Week Programme
The National Job & Skills Training Initiative Programme (52 Weeks Programme) commenced September 5, 2011. The programme in Grand Bahama was divided into six phases with approximately 1,300 participants, who were placed under the supervision of 310 employers on the island. To date, there are 110 participants remaining in the programme, which ends on April 26, 2013.
The 52 weeks programme was implemented by the Ministry of Finance and was managed by the Ministry for Grand Bahama since August 2012.
