FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas -- Minister of Economic Affairs, Senator the Hon. Michael Halkitis (centre), paid a courtesy call on Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey (second right) at the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday, August 11, 2022.  Joining Minister Halkitis was Parliamentary Secretary Wayde Watson.   Minister Halkitis said he was happy to be in Grand Bahama and looked forward to sitting with Minister Moxey to see what additional support the Ministry of Economic Affairs can offer the Ministry for Grand Bahama, in its pursuit of moving Grand Bahama to the next level.

Minister Moxey noted that there is so much work left to be done in Grand Bahama, and therefore she was excited to get support from Minister Halkitis.  Minister Moxey thanked Minister Halkitis for his support of the “Beautiful Grand Bahama” initiative, which has been of great benefit to Grand Bahamians.  At the courtesy call were Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs Wayde Watson (second left); Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry for Grand Bahama Melvin Seymour (right) and Senator Kirkland Russell (left).    (BIS Photo/Andrew Miller)
