Bahamas Customs marks its 109th Year with Divine Worship at the Church of God of Proptreehecy East Street.

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Bahamas Customs and Excise Department marked its 109th Year of establishment in The Bahamas with a Church Service at the Church of God of Prophecy, East Street Tabernacle, on Sunday, March 26, 2023 joining Bishop Hulan Hanna and the congregation in the Divine Worship Service.  Customs has held a number of events to commemorate the March anniversary, including a T-Shirt Day, donation of groceries and supplies to various senior citizen homes, and donation of picnic benches to their adopted school, T.A. Thompson Junior High. The Governor General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A. Smith is pictured greeting leaders of the uniformed branches just outside of the church, and the Minister of Economic Affairs, with oversight of Bahamas Customs -- the Hon. Michael Halkitis is pictured delivering remarks.
