Disability Awareness Week honoured with church service at Judaea Baptist Church

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Members of the the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities attended a Church Service on Sunday, December 4, 2022 to honour Disability Awareness Week.  The service took place at Judaea Baptist Church on Tonique Williams-Darling Highway, conducted by Pastor Stephen Ferguson, and attended by the Minister of Social Services and Urban Development the Hon. Obie Wilchcombe.  

After the church service, the Commission launched its Mobile AccessAbility Digital APP, a platform for persons with disabilities and their families, at a lunch reception at Margaritaville Beach Resort.  The App provides One-Touch access to all emergency services.
