The Cabinet Office announces today that an Official Funeral Service will be held for the late Vernon J. Symonette, CMG, former Cabinet Minister, Speaker of the House of Assembly and Parliamentarian on Friday, 29^th July, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, Shirley Street.  Interment will be held on Saturday, 6^th August, 2022 in Great Inagua.

The body will lie-in-state in the foyer of the House of Assembly at 9:00am on Thursday, 28^th July, 2022.

Viewing for the general public will be 1:00p.m to 5:00p.m on Thursday, 28^th July, 2022.

The service will be broadcast live via the ZNS radio network from Zion Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am.
