Paul Rolle to Retire as RBPF Commissioner; Clayton Fernander, Commissioner of Police effective July 5, 2022

The Cabinet Office announces that the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Paul Rolle, will retire from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, effective 5th July, 2022.

 

Consequent upon the retirement of Commissioner Rolle, His Excellency, the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Prime Minister after consultation with the Leader of the Opposition, has appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clayton Fernander, Commissioner of Police with effect from 5th July, 2022.

 

Furthe r, His Excellency, The Governor-General, acting upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister after having consulted the Leader of the Opposition, has also appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leamond Deleveaux, Deputy Commissioner of Police, with effect from 5th July, 2022 to fill the vacancy created by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Clayton Femander.
