Executive Management wishes to advise that the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (BCB), Northern Service, Grand Bahama, will be closed to the public tomorrow, Wednesday December 9^th, 2020 for cleaning and sanitization due to possible exposure of a staff member to a COVID-19 positive person outside of the workplace.

While the staff member has not been confirmed to be positive at this time, Management has closed the operation in Grand Bahama effective immediately and will have the concerned area(s) cleaned and sanitized as a precautionary measure and the individual tested.  Be advised that the “Northern Edition Newscast” will not air tonight as a result.

The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas, pending the result of the individual’s test will seek to reopen for normal business hours on Thursday December 10^th, 2020 at the Northern Service Bureau in Grand Bahama.
