The Cabinet Office announces today that a State Recognized Funeral Service for the late Dr. Eugene Newry, former Diplomat, Educator and Neurosurgeon will be held on Friday, 17th June, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Hill Street. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street. 

The body will lie-in-repose in Suite B at Bethel Brothers Morticians, Nassau Street from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 16th June, 2022. Viewing for the general public will be from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, 16th June, 2022. The service will be broadcast live via the ZNS Radio Network from St. Francis Xavier Cathedral at 11:00am
