Representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) along with the President of The Bahamas Red Cross paid a courtesy call at the Office of the Attorney-General, Paul L. Adderley Building on May 5, 2022. The meeting was held to discuss the ongoing relationship and opportunities for partnering with the ICRC on future initiatives. In attendance from l-r are: Deirdre Clarke-Maycock, Chief Counsel; Dr. Donna Miller, Under Secretary; Terez Curry, President of The Bahamas Red Cross; Marisela Silva Chau, Head of Regional Delegation; Celine Leonet, Regional Coordinator; Jean Franco Olivera Astete, Legal Advisor on International Humanitarian Law; Kenrah Newry, Assistant Director of Legal Affairs; Jewel Major, Assistant Director of Legal Affairs and Dellareese Sands, Senior Assistant Secretary.
