Civil servants across the Public Service are all concerned about the same issues, which is why this administration has committed to aggressively addressing these matters and has been doing so.

No group is favored over the other. We are moving as quickly as we receive the necessary recommendations from the Ministries.
The Ministry of the Public Service works on recommendations from Ministries or Departments.

Any matters we receive on behalf of Finance Officers are processed and sent to the Public Service Commission. We cannot act until matters are received. As they are received, the technical team within my Ministry processes as expeditiously as possible. It is unfortunate that this grouping would seek to disrupt Government business when movement of their matters has been addressed with them, no later than 9:00 am this morning in a meeting with the Financial Secretary and the Permanent Secretary of thePublic Service.

I continue my commitment to getting all longstanding matters ameliorated as rapidly as possible for all civil servants; and that is happening daily.
