Nassau, Bahamas -- The Ministry of the Environment and Housing hosted several events and activities commemorating Earth Day 2021. One such event was a tree planting ceremony held at the C. I. Gibson, Senior High School in Marathon on Thursday, 2nd April (Earth Day). Minister of the Environment and Housing, the Hon. Gibson Senior High School, Herbert Oembler and 12th grade students, Shavann Pierre and Nel-Eisha Woodside, at a tree planting ceremony held on the school grounds.
