NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Hon. Wayne Munroe, Minister of National Security, was in attendance at the Ministry of National Security's 'Shock Treatment Sunday' Church Service, March 17, 2024 at The Hope Center.  Young men with past disciplinary issues who had improved their outlook and attitudes through the rigors of the programme were encouraged at the church service to stay on the new, hard-won, path.  Representatives of the Police Force, Defence Force, Department of Correctional Services gave support to the youth.  Minister of National Security Wayne Munroe described for them the twists and turns of life as being like those of a basketball game where the decisions that you make, do matter.   The 'Shock Treatment' programme was designed as an intervention targeting, and improving the outlook of, young men who were previously susceptible to gang activities and other negative behaviour.
