FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA -- The Hon. Vaughn P. Miller, Minister of The Environment & Natural Resources (centre) celebrated with Mr. Prescott Smith (centre right), President of the Bahamas Fly-Fishing Industry Association: Mr. Smith is the first Bahamian to be presented the prestigious Gladding Memorial Award -- which he received November 7, 2022 in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  The award is given to those Fishers who have displayed an enduring vision for the sustainable and wise utilization of the world’s marine resources over the years.
