Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Philip Davis participated in the 2022 Concordia Americas Summit in Miami, July 13, 2022.  The summit took place in partnership with the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States "to confront the challenges and opportunities facing the Western Hemisphere."  The prime minister participated in a panel conversation on the Importance of Regional Cooperation in Advancing Investment and Economic Development Across the Region.   He is pictured in panel conversation along with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves.

 

The session description: "For nations to thrive during times of turbulence in the international community, enhanced regional cooperation is required. Regional cooperation and increased geographical ties can lead to strong economic development, and create more expansive, durable trade lines. Enhanced regional cooperation doesn’t just result in economic growth; it allows nations to have stronger responses to challenges such as pandemics, climate change, and migration."
