In observance of Brain Awareness Week the Sunshine Pilot Club of Nassau paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Health and Wellness. The Hon. Dr. Michael Darville was delighted that the organization began its week of brain health and safety awareness activities with a visit to the Ministry.

After a welcoming exchange between the members of the Sunshine Pilot Club and the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Colin Higgs, Minister Darville shared with the grouping his experiences working in the medical field which patients who endured brain injuries, trauma and disorders. He emphasized the importance of brain research and learning about brain health and protection at an early age.

The Hon. Dr. Darville expressed his gratitude to President Sheila McPhee, President- Elect Judy McFall and other executives and members of the Sunshine Pilot Club of Nassau for the remarkable work they perform in the community. He encouraged the Club members to stay the course and wished them continued success.
