This permit is required for persons who wish to engage in the culture of aquatic organisms, including fish farming.


Eligibility 

The applicant must possess or have access to the expertise necessary to engage in aquaculture.

Process 
  1. Complete relevant application form.
  2. Attach a detailed proposal to the application form, along with other supporting documents.
  3. Submit completed application form, supporting documents and detailed proposal to the Department of Marine Resources.

Supporting Documents 
  1. Completed application form.
  2. Detailed proposal.
  3. Copies of passport of all persons named on the application.
  4. Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment of the Proposal.
  5. Approval from the National Economic Council where there are foreign nationals investing in the sector.
  6. Proof of access to the land and/or sea bed where the fish farming is to be conducted.
